Terms and Conditions
📄 General & Booking Conditions – Cortijo MaSy
These general and booking conditions apply to all reservations and stays at Cortijo MaSy, located in La Mela /Sorbas (AlmerÃa), Spain.
By making a reservation, the guest agrees to these terms.
1. Reservation
A reservation is final upon receipt of written confirmation (by email, WhatsApp or booking platform).
The main booker must be 18 years old or older.
The main booker is responsible for all co-guests.
2. Payment
Payment terms are stated at the time of reservation.
If a deposit has been agreed, it must be paid within the agreed term.
The remaining amount must be paid before arrival unless otherwise agreed.
In case of late payment, the lessor reserves the right to cancel the reservation.
3. Deposit
If applicable, a deposit may be requested.
The deposit is for covering damage, extra cleaning or violation of house rules.
The deposit will be refunded within a reasonable period after departure and inspection of the accommodation, provided no damage has been found.
4. Cancellation
Cortijo MaSy's cancellation conditions apply to cancellations.
Cancellations must always be made in writing.
5. Arrival and Departure
Check-in: from 16:00
Check-out: by 10:00 at the latest
Deviations only possible after prior consultation.
6. Identification Obligation (Spanish Legislation)
All guests are required to identify themselves with a valid passport or ID card.
This data is registered in accordance with the applicable Spanish regulations and can be shared with competent authorities.
7. Use of Accommodation
The accommodation may only be used by the number of guests stated in the reservation.
It is not permitted to let third parties stay overnight without permission.
Parties, events and nuisance are not allowed.
The house rules form an integral part of these conditions.
8. Liability
Staying and using the accommodation, grounds and swimming pool is entirely at your own risk.
The lessor is not liable for loss, theft, damage or injury to guests or their property.
The guest is responsible for any damage caused by him/her or co-guests.
9. Force Majeure
In case of force majeure (such as natural disasters, extreme weather conditions, government measures or other unforeseen circumstances), the lessor cannot be held liable.
A suitable solution will be sought in consultation.
10. Complaints
Any complaints should be reported as soon as possible during the stay so that a solution can be found.
Complaints afterwards cannot always be honored.
11. Applicable Law
Spanish law applies to these general and booking conditions.
Disputes will be submitted to the competent court in Spain.
12. Changes
Cortijo MaSy reserves the right to change these terms.
The version applicable at the time of reservation applies.
