📄 General & Booking Terms and Conditions – Cortijo MaSy
These general and booking conditions apply to all reservations and stays at Cortijo MaSy, located in La Mela/Sorbas (AlmerÃa), Spain.
By making a reservation, the guest agrees to these terms and conditions.
1. Reservation
A reservation is final after receipt of a written confirmation (by email, WhatsApp or booking platform).
The main booker must be 18 years or older.
The main booker is responsible for all co-guests.
2. Payment
Payment terms will be stated at the time of booking.
If a down payment has been agreed upon, it should be paid within the agreed period.
The remaining amount must be paid no later than before arrival, unless otherwise agreed.
In the event of late payment, the landlord reserves the right to cancel the reservation.
3. Cluster
If applicable, a deposit may be requested.
The deposit is intended to cover damage, additional cleaning or violation of house rules.
The deposit will be refunded within a reasonable period after departure and inspection of the accommodation, provided no damage is found.
4. Cancellation
The cancellation terms of Cortijo MaSy apply to the cancellations.
Cancellations must always be communicated in writing.
5. Arrival and departure
Check-in: from 2:00 PM
Check-out: by 11:00 a.m.
Deviations are only possible after prior consultation.
6. Identification obligation (Spanish legislation)
All guests are required to identify themselves with a valid passport or identity card.
This data is registered in accordance with applicable Spanish regulations and may be shared with competent authorities.
7. Use of the accommodation
The accommodation may only be used by the number of guests as stated in the reservation.
It is not permitted to let third parties stay overnight without permission.
Parties, events and nuisances are not allowed.
The house rules form an integral part of these terms and conditions.
8. Liability
Staying and using the accommodation, the site and the swimming pool is entirely at your own risk.
The landlord is not liable for loss, theft, damage or injury to guests or their property.
The guest is liable for damage caused by him/her or co-guests.
9. Force Majeure
In the event of force majeure (such as natural disasters, extreme weather conditions, government measures or other unforeseen circumstances), the landlord cannot be held liable.
A suitable solution will be sought in consultation.
10. Complaints
Any complaints should be reported as soon as possible during your stay so that a solution can be found.
Complaints made afterwards cannot always be accommodated.
11. Governing Law
These general and booking conditions are subject to Spanish law.
Disputes are submitted to the competent court in Spain.
12. Changes
Cortijo MaSy reserves the right to modify these terms and conditions.
The version applicable at the time of booking applies.
