Terms and Conditions
📄 General & Booking Terms – Cortijo MaSy
These general and booking terms apply to all reservations and stays at Cortijo MaSy, located in La Mela /Sorbas (AlmerÃa), Spain.
By making a reservation, the guest agrees to these terms and conditions.
1. Reservation
A reservation is final after receipt of a written confirmation (by email, WhatsApp or booking platform).
The main booker must be 18 years of age or older.
The main booker is responsible for all fellow guests.
2. Payment
Payment terms are stated at the time of reservation.
If a deposit has been agreed upon, it must be paid within the agreed period.
The remaining amount must be paid no later than before arrival, unless otherwise agreed.
In case of late payment, the landlord reserves the right to cancel the reservation.
3. Security Deposit
If applicable, a security deposit may be required.
The deposit is intended to cover damage, extra cleaning or violation of house rules.
The deposit will be refunded within a reasonable period after departure and inspection of the accommodation, provided no damage has been found.
4. Cancellation
Cortijo MaSy's cancellation terms apply to cancellations.
Cancellations must always be communicated in writing.
5. Arrival and Departure
Check-in: from 2:00 PM
Check-out: no later than 11:00 AM
Deviations are only possible after prior consultation.
6. Identification Obligation (Spanish Legislation)
All guests are required to identify themselves with a valid passport or identity card.
This data will be registered in accordance with Spanish regulations and may be shared with competent authorities.
7. Use of the Accommodation
The accommodation may only be used by the number of guests stated in the reservation.
It is not permitted to allow third parties to stay overnight without permission.
Parties, events and nuisance are not allowed.
The house rules form an integral part of these terms and conditions.
8. Liability
Staying in and using the accommodation, the grounds and the pool is at your own risk.
The landlord is not liable for loss, theft, damage or injury to guests or their property.
The guest is liable for any damage caused by them or their fellow guests.
9. Force Majeure
In case of force majeure (such as natural disasters, extreme weather conditions, government measures or other unforeseen circumstances), the landlord cannot be held liable.
A suitable solution will be sought in consultation.
10. Complaints
Any complaints must be reported as soon as possible during the stay so that a solution can be found.
Complaints made after the fact may not always be honoured.
11. Governing Law
Spanish law applies to these general and booking terms.
Disputes will be referred to the competent court in Spain.
12. Changes
Cortijo MaSy reserves the right to modify these terms and conditions.
The version applicable at the time of reservation is used.
