Cancellation conditions

Cancellation Policy | Cortijo MaSy – La Mela (Sorbas, Almería)

By making a reservation at Cortijo MaSy, the guest agrees to the following cancellation policies.

1. Cancellation by the guest

A cancellation must always be communicated in writing via info@cortijomasy.nl or via WhatsApp. The date on which we receive the cancellation is considered the official cancellation date.

Refund policy

- Up to 30 days before arrival: 100% refund.

**29 to 14 days before arrival: 50% refund.**

- Less than 14 days before arrival: no refund.

No-show (no-show without notice): no refund.

2. Refund

When you are entitled to a refund under the above conditions:

- we will process the refund within 7 days of confirming the cancellation;

- the amount will be refunded via Stripe, to the same payment method used to pay for the reservation;

It may take a few business days before the amount is visible in your bank account or on your credit card.

3. Early departure

In case of an earlier departure than the original departure date, no refund will be made for already paid nights.

4. Changing a reservation

Changes are possible based on availability.

If the amendment results in a higher accommodation price, seasonal price or length of stay, the price difference will be charged. If the amendment results in a lower price, there is no right to a refund, unless Cortijo MaSy explicitly agrees to this.

5. Castle

Any deposit paid will be refunded as soon as possible after inspection of the accommodation. Any damage, missing items or additional cleaning costs may be deducted from the deposit.

6. Cancellation by Cortijo MaSy

In the event that Cortijo MaSy is forced to cancel a reservation due to unforeseen circumstances, then:

- you receive the full already paid amount back, or

- If possible, we offer an equivalent alternative.

The liability of Cortijo MaSy is limited to the refund of the rent already received. Any additional costs, such as transportation, airline tickets, rental cars, or other travel expenses, will not be reimbursed.

7. Travel and cancellation insurance

We advise every guest to take out travel and cancellation insurance.

Cancellations due to personal circumstances, illness, family situations, flight delays, strikes, traffic problems, or weather conditions do not entitle you to an alternative refund policy.

8. Force Majeure

In the event of force majeure, including but not limited to natural disasters, forest fires, pandemics, extreme weather conditions, government measures or other situations beyond the control of both parties, we will seek a reasonable and appropriate solution in good consultation, within the possibilities and in accordance with applicable Spanish law.

9. Applicable law

All reservations, payments and cancellations are subject exclusively to Spanish law. Any disputes shall be dealt with by the competent court in Spain.
